D’banj finnaly speaks on Mo’Hits break-up.

Talking about the rancour between Don Jazzy and D’Banj, the questions, among others, begging for answers are: Who broke up Mo’Hits and how did the misunderstanding come about?
Accusing fingers point at D’banj, because he was the more outspoken of the two, but, could Don Jazzy not also have had a share of the blame? Just thinking.
Of course, people knew the problem started after the Kanye West G.O.O.D Music deal and many blamed D’Banj for allegedly having an insatiable appetite for fame and money. Well, could that be true or could Don Jazzy also have been scared of breaking new grounds to get new challenges?
Sources alleged that D’Banj was becoming, slightly, overconfident and efforts to curb him had been difficult. He, simply, wanted to experience what it felt like to mingle with the giants in the industry and when it comes to music, American artistes rule the world. Since he left Mo’Hits, many people have openly taunted his inability to churn out hits as it was when the going was good with Don Jazzy.
Well, it’s quite correct that D’Banj’s musical prowess and influence had plummeted since he left Don Jazzy, yet, there is no sin in trying to conquer new grounds. So, in order to let out the whole truth behind the friendship-gone-sour affair, D’Banj got on Olisa Adibua’s The Truth.
In trying to clear the air, D’Banj didn’t really spill the beans, but, challenged Olisa on why he didn’t invite Don Jazzy so they could both be there to answer the nagging questions. Such face-off would have been a great idea.

D’Banj, however, actually, said it was Dr. Sid who broke up Mo’Hits and not him, seriously?
I remember that time when Dr Sid complained bitterly that Don Jazzy didn’t put in more energy into his career like he did with D’Banj’s, thus, making the latter a shining star. So, how did this contribute to the break-up of Mo’Hits?
Back to why the group broke up, D’Banj said he and Don Jazzy started having different views after the Kanye West deal was struck. According to him, he was the one who pioneered the deal with Kanye and that he decided to bring Jazzy into it as his producer, so, they, eventually, got two deals; one for each of them.
After the deal, both of them were shuttling between Nigeria and the US just to fulfill their part of the deal. According to the Koko Master, he saw an opportunity to break into the international market, but, Jazzy complained that the US was too expensive and that they were spending too much money on the trips, thus, their contrary views kick-started their break-up.
So, who broke up Mo’hits?
According to D’Banj, Don Jazzy stuck to his guns and, eventually, he told him one day that he didn’t want him (D’Banj) anymore. In other words, Don Jazzy broke up Mo’Hits!
Now, what does Jazzy have to say?
“Jazzy said he and other members of the group weren’t interested in the deal. Then later, he called me that he doesn’t want me as a partner again”, D’Banj said. So, would you blame D’Banj for leaving? He was alone in that view! Everybody else was against him! However, many people don’t believe him, because to them, D’Banj looks too smooth to be real, but it would be nice to hear Don Jazzy’s version of the break-up too for their fans to know the full story.
